Why Are Cars Allowed to go so Fast?
Why does a non-racing car and non-police car need to go over 100mph? First, I imagine that we could cut down on accidents if we made it harder for cars/trucks to go so fast. Second, autos are generally more fuel efficient at lower speeds. Third, I imagine it is cheaper to build a "slower" automobile.
