"Harvard MBA Indicator"

"One gauge, called the Harvard MBA Indicator, takes into account the kinds of jobs taken by the latest graduating class at Harvard Business School. If more than 30 percent of graduates end up in "market sensitive jobs," which include investment banking, private equity and hedge funds, it's a long-term sell signal for stocks, says Ray Soifer of Soifer Consulting, a former banking analyst who created the index and has tracked it for several years."
