Definitions define an arguement. Before one starts arguing, it is important that the same definitions are being used. I would say that most arguements are meaningless merely because one is arguing about definitions without really knowing that one is arguing about definitions. I would say that 90% of arguements would not take place if people were using the same definitions. So whip out that dictionary. http://dictionary.reference.com/
Of course, facts make up another part of arguements. Facts will support an arguement and help make the case. The problem is finding "objective facts." After all, a lot of "facts" are "created" in a hasty or even faulty manner. In today's Information Age, the true genius is the one who can cull through information and determine what is "true fact," or "best fact."
This blog is meant to capture the intersection of business, economics, politics, science, humanities, global culture, facts, figures, ideas, human nature, inventions, technology, health, food, sex...It is really an ode to life and the many things to think about and consider along the way.
